No Limits: An Arts Series Focused on Access For All

The No Limits Arts Series project aims to strengthen inclusiveness in the arts for individuals with disabilities. High school students from the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ISBVI) will work alongside several Indianapolis-based arts organizations to increase their accessibility for individuals with disabilities. ISBVI will open its auditorium to the public to serve as a community gathering space for inclusive films, performances and cultural experiences.

Collaborators: ArtMix, Capital City Chorus, Dance Kaleidoscope, Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, Heartland Film, Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, Phoenix Theatre

Celebrate with us on Friday, July 26th as we welcome the Matthew Whitaker Quartet for the FIRST public performance in the newly renovated 1930's Auditorium at the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired! Thanks to Lilly Endowment, Inc., ISBVI will now serve as a community gathering space for inclusive films, performances and cultural experiences.

Tickets range in price from $25-$50 and include a pre-concert reception with heavy appetizers and select complimentary beverages as well as the performance by the Matthew Whitaker Quartet. A post-concert reception will feature an emceed Q and A with Matthew Whitaker and will also include deserts and complimentary drinks for an additional $25.

The annual No Limits concert at ISBVI will kick off the No Limits Arts Series each year on the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act being signed into law - July 26th. Not only will the performance draw the public onto the school premises, but it will celebrate key legislation that changed the quality of life for people with disabilities.Click here to download an event flyer
